Pecan-Crusted Catfish & Carrot Slaw with Yogurt Dressing pg232


3 Toasts for both

The lighter side of Southern cooking. The fish looked great but had a catfish taste. A bit firmer type of texture.
This was the second try for the carrot slaw, we still didn't use dill but we had carrots this time. We prefer either vinegar slaw or creamy slaw, but not both together.

Wondering if the new puppy "the Greek" we are getting will like catfish.

No we didn't use orecchiette, there was none at Loblaws, but for this dish it didn't matter as the real star was the sausage.
